Appearance

Misaka is a young woman with a slightly taller height and a good physical fit. She has a dark brown shoulder length hair with layered bangs split in three portions that frames her face, which she sometimes decorates with a purple butterfly hairclip. She has a muted purple eyes with behind her glasses which she rarely takes off.Her first casual outfit resembles a casual Lolita dress and a skirt with a brown to a maroon color. She mostly wears skirt, and most clothes she owns are either in neutral color or shades of purple and pink in feminine style.Misaka's first stage outfit is shown in sleeveless black shirt with collar, which is decorated by a purple bow and suspenders, white half pleated skirt with purple plaid accents and belt. She also wears a thigh high black fishnet stockings with a grey accent for style and a purple boots with grey accents, topped with belts for style. For her extra accessories, she wears a purple bow hairband, short arm warmers with belt near her wrists and upper arms.

Personality

Misaka is a cheerful person who's passionate about her band. Because of this, she strives to perform the bass guitar better by practicing everyday to improve her skills. At first glance, she can be friendly, but there's also a shy side to her. She also gets worked up easily and would sulk if she's upset or ignored by her peers. She likes talking about the things she likes and she makes sure that no one is left behind during idle talks. Misaka also likes romantic stuff as she also likes to daydream stuff like that. Her peers may describe her as hopeless romantic when it comes to that topic. Despite her fantastical ideas of love, she never had fallen seriously in love.Despite her social butterfly-like persona, she doesn't open up to people she doesn't vibe with. Only those she considered a close friend will know some of her secrets. Her cautious nature came from when she experienced bullying. As daughter of some well known people in the business world, her family is well-off but Misaka doesn't let money to rule her world. Although sometimes, she loves to spend it to buy gifts and give some to her friends.

Backstory

Misaka was born in a fairly wealthy family since her mother works in entertainment industry as an scouting agent in a company and her father is a COO of a well-known stationery brand. Since her parents are always busy and occasionally comes home, she spends most of her time with her siblings and their two cats. She also goes to the plaza near their neighborhood to play with other kids around her age. Sometimes, she prefers walking to parks or promenades all by herself, which makes her sister worried about her.Since her father works in a stationery brand, she began to be interested in collecting those. She also learned English because she wants to do faux calligraphy and give it to her friends. Her love for music started when her older sister played the drums. But because Misaka was too harsh in playing the drums, her sister's bandmate offered her to play the bass guitar instead. At first, she didn't liked it but got impressed with his skills so she gave it a try. For the first time, she felt connected to her bass guitar. And at this time, she began to watch anime that are mostly seen as for kids. But she found these things to be something she's passionate about.During her elementary and middle school years, she was seen as a weird kid who gets extremely passionate but people are only friends with her for her money. This stressed her out since she takes them to shopping trips every weekend. As a result, she began isolating herself and distanced to other people when it becomes too overwhelming for her. With this, she also became too quiet and only talked to her closest friends, Alicia and Yumemi. When necessary, she tries to be someone else when interacting with someone. During this time, she practiced more on her bass guitar and dreams to join a band someday. But when Masahiro joined the light music club in their last year in middle school, they began going together to music festivals or lives and they decided to form a band. She also recruited Kanae, who used to be a guitarist in her old band. With help of Hiro, they managed to scout Kanae as well as Haruto for the drums as they both see how passionate he is. She encouraged Ririka to join the band as the keyboardist and cheered her up whenever she feels down.Being in the band helped gained her confidence back a little and sometimes she resorts into putting a fake facade when talking to other people as she fears they might leave her someday. Nonetheless, she doesn't stop supporting her bandmates and friends. In return, they also encouraged Misaka to accept who she is as a person.

Timeskip

- Year 1: The start of SS Story
- Year 2: As the 3rd years graduated, some bands are having a hard time to manage their bands due to their separate ways
- Year 3: Most of the bands are going all pro in preparation for the ultimate battle of the bandsCurrent Timeline: Misaka already graduated and is deciding to enroll in Adagaoka College, mastering in Business Management. She's also doing part time modeling, for semi-popular magazines and fashion deals. Amidst all this, a talented manager has his eyes on raScalS after they performed on the Stellars Live Concert. As raScalS all now out of high school, they decided to sign under a well-known record label where daybreakers are also under. Even though college is tough for them, they still managed to have some time together and perform gigs and eventually, got famous to the point where they were performing with other talented musicians as well. Their future is uncertain, but Miichan wants to keep playing with raScalS for more years to come.

Family

Misaka loves her family, although there are times where they headbutt with each other. Mostly when her parents are somewhat nosy in their children's career. Nevertheless, they hang out at their summer house at Okinawa.Seina Hoshizora
Her mom works in the music industry as a scouting agent and assistant manager for idol groups, artists and musicians alike. Known for her somewhat strict attitude, Seina adores her children, proud of their accomplishments. One of the reasons she doesn't want Misaka to be in the industry is to protect her from exploitative companies, but in the end, she supported her decision.
Naoki Hoshizora
Her dad works as a COO of a famous stationery company and wants at least one of his children to take over his position someday. He spends time with his children on weekends and sometimes brings home some sample stationeries from his company, which Misaka loves to collect.
Aki Hoshizora
Aki acts like a wise older sister to them but is actually a goofy and laidback sister. She used to be in a band as a drummer which inspired Misaka to play an instrument. They often share love advice or do each others makeup on days they're not busy. Oftentimes, Misaka loves to be spoiled by her sister and gets to be clingy with her.
Mafuyu Hoshizora
Mafuyu is the youngest sibling who's calm and aloof and he buries his nose deep in books. He can play the piano, but doesn't want to be in a band. Mafuyu teases her sisters as they also do the same to him. He feels like he is obliged to protect them if they ever make mistakes in their lives whatsoever. Misaka often acts as protective sibling to him, which somehow embarrasses him.
Tsubasa Hoshino
Her distant relative who she spends most of her time with when she is a little girl. They often play together, usually roleplaying as their favorite characters. Tsubasa wants to perform onstage with Misaka, but although they're different, they are both part time models for a fashion magazine. Tsubasa sometimes gets clingy with Misaka, as her older brother is living overseas.Although Misaka is acquainted to most of the other bands, there as some in which she is more close to.

Rei and Misaka

An unexpected pair that connected through their appreciation for music and being musicians in some way. It all started with admiration and gratitude for their relationship to spark.

Rei Sakuma
Her boyfriend who she loves dearly. She also takes care of him and spoils him a lot to the extent that some would assume that they're already married. Misaka enjoys his company, as he would like to tell stories about anything that he can think of. Rei also loves to tease her, as he enjoyed seeing her get a little bit flustered and become a blushing mess. They maintain a healthy work relationship, trying to keep their relationship private and away from scandals. He also helps her in song writing and gives her advice on life and in return, she also helps him in composing music. When they're alone together, they tend to be clingy with one another and be affectionate, often wrapped in each other's arms. Ritsu Sakuma
Rei's brother who at first distrusts her as he believed that she's taking his time to her. But as they gradually meet, he slowly opens up to her and even clinging to her at times, which makes Rei either whining like a baby for Misaka not spoiling him or be happy at the sight of his loved ones getting along. Like Rei, she also makes sure that Ritsu is away from the sunlight and often gives him soda which he likes. Ritsu teases her about Rei, even calling her an old woman if she keeps spending time with him.
Rei's Parents
They didn't approve of Misaka for Rei at first, but seeing how they genuinely care about each other, they decided to accept her. Although they're not as close, Misaka still treats them with respect and speaks with them in polite manner.
Raika Hojo
They treat each other with respect and Misaka sometimes look after him, although he tried to pickpocket her when they first met.
Kaoru Hakaze
They get along pretty well and sometimes hang out at the aquarium as Misaka often asks Kaoru for advice or just to ask him about Rei.
Koga Oogami
Although she has to face a very wary Koga at first, Misaka is now friends with him as he respects her skills for playing the bass. She also asks for his advice when it comes to music. And also, they ran into each other in a pet store.
Adonis Otogari
Adonis helped Misaka when she was surrounded by a crowd, although it turned out to be her band's supporters. She was still grateful for his help as it got overwhelming for her. Adonis is straightforward with her, telling her to be genuine with Rei and not to hurt him.
